We are consistently striving to improve our services and procedures. In doing so, we have achieved an Insurance Services Office (ISO) rating of 6. ISO ratings are used to determine your fire risk and this can help to reduce your fire insurance premium. To establish an ISO fire rating, the standards are set forth in a schedule and the various features of fire protection by a fire service are compared against them. A fire service's ability to control fire hazards within the municipality is determined and a rating is issued. Our rating equates to an improved homeowners insurance rate, and peace of mind for our neighbors in knowing that they have one of the finest fire departments in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
